In Celtic folklore, the shapeshifting Phouka (poo-kah) has an ambiguous reputation, known to be both mischieveous and benevolent. I strive to embody that energy in this solo project, exploring love and loss through bittersweet acoustic guitar melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Influences include: Nickel Creek, Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile, Snow Patrol, and Laura Marling.
